Comparing with USDA Nonmetro Northeast counties, in 2020, there were 52 USDA Nonmetro NE counties out of 80 with a higher percent poverty than the Park. The Park performed better than 65% of the USDA Nonmetro NE counties. There were 2.7 million persons out of 4.2 million (64%) living in these USDA Nonmetro NE counties.
